Welcome everyone! Coach Ralph Gilmore here. Just in case you're still wondering, I am a New York City boxing coach, a certified personal trainer and nutrition coach through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM-CPC, CNC), fitness expert and entrepreneur. As we continue to deal with the Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic, I hope everyone is staying safe and healthy. My primary base of operations where I hold my group, semi-private and private boxing training sessions is at Work Train Fight boxing gym, located within the Noho and Soho neighborhoods of Manhattan. I also train clients at other NYC boxing gyms such as SouthBox by Eric Kelly in the Bronx, The Last Round in midtown, Manhattan and Gleason's Gym in Dumbo, Brooklyn. As a NYC boxing trainer, NASM certified personal trainer and nutrition health coach, my mission is to empower clients based on teaching them real boxing fundamentals, while improving their cardiovascular health, mental health, physical strength and relieving stress. Clients also have the option for me to assist them in optimizing their dietary food intake with my nutrition coaching services. Whether you choose to hire me for private boxing lessons, personal training or nutrition and health coaching services, my ultimate goal is to provide an uplifting, learning experience for all fitness levels and body types for a healthier, greater version of YOU!
Ever since I was a kid, I've always had a talent for drawing, along with a love for art, animation, comic books and superhero movies. I believe that these personal attributes juxtaposes effortlessly with my appreciation for boxing and maintaining an overall healthy lifestyle. Along with sharing my knowledge as a New York City boxing trainer, a NASM certified personal trainer and a specialist in nutrition coaching services, you will not only get the benefits of learning proper boxing technique, self-defense, and how to incorporate healthy foods into your lifestyle, but you'll also pick up some life lessons along the way. When it comes to boxing training, I preach and teach great habits. You just have to bring your work ethic. By the end of a workout session with me, you'll walk away with a better understanding of boxing fundamentals, train at a higher level, enhanced boxing IQ and improved body strength. Before beginning this or any other exercise program, I highly recommend that you get your physician's approval. These recommendations are not medical guidelines, but are for educational and safety purposes only. You must consult your physician prior to starting this program or if you have any medical condition or injury that contraindicates physical activity. These programs are designed for healthy individuals 18 years and older. You should understand that when participating in any exercise or training program, there is the possibility of physical injury. If you engage in this exercise or training program, you agree that you do so at your own risk, are voluntarily participating in these activities, assume all risk of injury to yourself, and agree to release and discharge any and all claims or causes of action, known or unknown, arising from, Perennial Boxing + Fitness and founder, Ralph Gilmore. Scheduling Classes and Private Training Sessions
All classes and private training time bookings are first come, first serve. Classes and sessions are not confirmed until the programs has been purchased and you receive an email confirmation. I ask that you allow at least 48 hours notice for your requested session date and time.
Prepare to Fight
The most successful boxers, martial artists and MMA fighters of the world are always the most prepared. Their success are based upon training preparation, nutritional values, health habits, positive visualization, and yes, reliable workout gear. So before you begin any training class or program, be sure to wear comfortable clothing and supportive sneakers with flashing lights (okay, not so much the flashing lights). Don't forget to keep a bottle of water on hand and be ready to sweat!
Cancellation/Rescheduling Policy
If you need to cancel or reschedule a session that you already booked, please send me an email 24 hours in advance of the scheduled time. If you cancel with less than 24 hours notice of your scheduled time, your session will be forfeited and you will be charged the full fee for your session. All cancellations and rescheduling must be done by emailing me at: ralph.gilmore@perennialboxing.com
Late Policy
If you anticipate being late for your session, please call or send a text as soon as possible. There will be a grace period of 15 minutes past the start of your session time (your session will still end at the original scheduled time). If you arrive 15 minutes after the scheduled start time of your session or do not make it to your training, you are still responsible for the cost of the missed session.
